Pregnancy isn’t a contraindication to dental treatment. Just opposite, during pregnancy you should increase attention to the condition of teeth and gums. During the whole pregnancy it is possible to carry out most of dental treatments, such as tooth decay treatment, or removal of dental deposits.

The fact that there are no contraindications against performing anaesthetization is also important. Check-ups during pregnancy are recommended in intervals of 3-6 months, i.e. more often than in standard dental check-ups.
